What

Welcome to Fiskars Group BRUK, a hub of innovation and a catalyst for change that brings people and intelligence together to stretch and twist the business models of Fiskars Group. We develop bold new initiatives and growth opportunities that enrich people’s lives and drive our industry forward in a sustainable way.

Why

Formed by brands with roots that go back as far as 370 years, we know the importance of not getting too comfy but instead strive for relevance in a changing world. We’re here to create new concepts and services that drive our core business or totally disrupt it.

How

BRUK is a creative, supportive and results-driven environment where ideas are freely tested and refined, and only the very best are ramped up. BRUK is open for companies, start ups and talents to explore joint ideation, concepts and projects with iconic brands, and people with love and passion for what they do.

CIRCULARITY

Circular routes forward

A fact: our natural resources are finite. If we are not careful, we risk running out of the very things that sustain life, our life – like clean water. Another fact: the climate is changing. If we don’t do a better job in managing our impact on our planet, there will be no planet for us in the future. One more fact, a very important one: we can create change. Circular economy is essentially about using things again, again, again, making sure nothing is wasted. It’s not just about recycling, it’s about reusing and repurposing, reimagining and rearranging. One more fact, a very important one: we can create change. Circular economy is essentially about using things again, again, again, making sure nothing is wasted. It’s not just about recycling, it’s about reusing and repurposing, reimagining and rearranging. If we use natural resources, we need to make sure those resources will never turn to waste. When we see waste, we need to ask ourselves what we might be able to create from it. With new business models and services, we make sure they serve a real purpose and are used again and again, again and again. Before we start something from scratch, we need to have a careful look at what’s already out there. Is someone else discarding something that could be of value to us? What if we didn’t produce new things but instead offered an extraordinary experience with products that already exist? What if we rethought the whole thing? What if? That’s a question for the BRUK to explore. Again and again.

From ironworks to blockchain – it’s always about the customer experience

Cooking, gardening, creating, celebrating – we’ve got just the right tools for everything you might need. And not just tools, we’ve got innovative services and centuries of expertise we’d love to share with everyone. Now we want to make sure we know how to tell people about all that we have to offer, at the right time, in the right places. And we’d love to turn all our interactions into a dialogue so that we know what to do next. When we talk about customer experience, we mean something more than just shopping, be it online or in store. For us, great customer experience is embedded in our purpose – it’s about making the everyday extraordinary. And that everyday is different for everyone. Our first priority is always the reliability, ease and efficiency of the interaction people have with us. But we want to offer more, we are moving beyond our extraordinary products to extraordinary services. There are new technologies that allow us to cater to the various everydays people lead. There are new ways to think about our business models, and there are new angles to marketing. Be it an ironworks or blockchain, scissors or CRM, it all starts with the spirit that’s been the starting point for us for almost four centuries. We want to do things that add value, that create something new, that elevate the mundane into meaningful, make the everyday extraordinary. Even when it means breaking away from the tried and trusted into something new. And our brands have a solid track record on reinventing themselves and their customer interactions, from Gerber knives that were just a customer gift at the start, to Josiah Wedgwood’s many revolutionary marketing innovations – he was doing influencer collaborations with the European royals already in the 18th century. It’s that same pioneering spirit that’s at the core of BRUK. What’s next?
