Changes in the Fiskars Group Leadership Team
Paul Tonnesen, President, SBU Functional, has decided to leave Fiskars. The Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Functional provides tools for use in and around the house as well as outdoors. SBU Functional includes brands such as Fiskars, Gerber and Gilmour.
Tonnesen was appointed President for the global SBU Functional and a member of the group leadership team in March 2017, and he has been with the company since 2007.
“Paul has played an instrumental role in the development of Fiskars’ position in the U.S., and during his tenure, he has led the team in many firsts and milestones in the Americas business. Fiskars has started the search for a new leader who will continue to develop the global Functional business, building on the successes in the Americas, Europe and Australia. In addition to her role as the President and CEO, Jaana Tuominen will act as the interim President, SBU Functional. The changes in the Fiskars Group Leadership Team are effective immediately.
