Responsible supplier management

Fiskars Group maintains a strong and transparent supplier network to meet both our business needs and our company values and expectations regarding social and environmental requirements.

We use a variety of raw materials, components, and services, and our own as well as external manufacturing to create our products. We source finished goods from suppliers located in Europe, North America, and Asia. The largest sourcing countries in terms of quantity are China, Thailand, and Vietnam.

We have had the Fiskars Group supplier sustainability audit program in use since 2011. During this time, we have conducted approximately 600 on-site supplier audits. In 2020, we carried out 46 sustainability audits for our suppliers.

The Fiskars Group Supplier Code of Conduct (SCOC) outlines the non-negotiable minimum standards Fiskars Group requires from all its suppliers. It illustrates the values and principles that are core to Fiskars Group operations worldwide.

Covered in the SCOC are topics such as health and safety, environmental protection, and human and labor rights. It also describes Fiskars Group’s commitment to international conventions such as the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the fundamental conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO), OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact.
