President of Fiskars' Home Business Area resigns

PRESIDENT OF FISKARS' HOME BUSINESS AREA RESIGNS                                

Tero Vähäkylä, Managing Director of Fiskars Corporation's subsidiary, Iittala   
Group Ltd, has resigned and will leave the company effective immediately. The   
search for a successor to lead Fiskars' Home Business Area has been started. In 
the mean time, Fiskars' President & CEO, Kari Kauniskangas, will act as the     
subsidiary's interim Managing Director.

during his time the company has strengthened its position as the leading        
Scandinavian homeware company and expanded its business internationally. I would
like to thank Tero for a job well done and wish him all the best for the

The Fiskars Home Business Area specializes in modern Scandinavian design for the
kitchen and home. The business area has a strong position on its home markets in
Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark through its Arabia, Hackman, Iittala,      
Fiskars, BodaNova, Höganäs Keramik, Rörstrand, Raadvad, and Høyang-Polaris      
brands. Internationally, the focus has been on generating growth through the    
Iittala brand and Iittala stores.
