Fiskars Group’s BA Vita’s company Fiskars Finland (Vita) initiates change negotiations at the Iittala glass factory

Fiskars Finland (Vita) Oy Ab will initiate change negotiations at the Iittala glass factory.

The negotiations concern a total of 132 employees, and senior salaried employees whose primary workplace is the Iittala glass factory.

The negotiations are related to adapting operations to the current market situation.

The negotiations include possible furloughs as well as a preliminary need to reduce up to 15 positions.

The negotiations are part of the broader transformation and organizational renewal program previously communicated by Fiskars Group’s Vita business area. Similar processes have already been carried out in other parts of the organization during the first half of the year.

The negotiations will begin on 19 May 2026 and are expected to continue for at least four weeks.
